Thank you!

I would first like to thank everyone who is reading along on my adventure. I really love getting the messages of support. Being on your own is really quite fun and exhilarating but I would not be able to do it with out my amazing family and friends back home.

I would also like to give a special thank you to Christen Burns and Ellie Carpenter for all their help in making this blog intelligible.

Enjoy!

Hello!

My name is Nora and I am a 28 year old  from the USA living in Europe. I am starting in Florence Italy and seeing where the wind takes me. This is a personal account of my adventure and feelings on the experience.

About

I lived in Connecticut for the majority of my life then packed up all my belongings in my car and moved to central North Carolina, where I had never step foot before in 2012. I loved there for 5 years where I had a great life with some family close by and wonderful friends. I have been lucky enough to visit Europe starting at a young age: England and Ireland in 1998 (about), Italy in 2000, France, Slovenia, Northern Italy and Austria in 2011, Belgium and the Netherlands in 2013, Tuscany in 2016, and Spain in 2017. I knew from my first trip I wanted to see the world as more then just a tourist and on my most recent trip to Spain that opportunity presented itself. So I once again packed up everything I could fit in two suitcases, sold the rest and headed to Florence to see what the world has in store for me.

Gone coastal!

Friday 30th- Wednesday July 5th: Friday morning we rented a car and headed to the coast. It was overcast and the temperature had dropped considerably in the city so ironically it was quite a pleasant day there unlike the past mouth where it’s been unbearably hot. We hopped on the road about 2pm and made …
